At DPS Gaya, we believe in fostering a strong sporting culture, and swimming is no exception. Through this championship, we aim to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among our students. Let the waves of enthusiasm surge as we come together to celebrate the joy of swimming and the spirit of healthy competition.

We are excited to announce the eagerly awaited Inter-House Swimming Championship, where talent and determination will take center stage. This prestigious event is open to both boys and girls for classes III to V.

The categories for both – Boys & Girls:

1.         For Classes – [III to V] Girls

            (a)        25 m Free Style

             (b)        25 m Kick Board

            (c)        50 m Free Style

             (d)        25×4 m Free Style Relay

2.         For Classes – [III to V] Boys

            (a)        25 m Free Style

            (b)        25 m Kick Board

            (c)        50 m Free Style

            (d)        25×4 m Free Style Relay

RULES & REGULATIONS (For Swimming)

• One student can participate in maximum two events.
• Each participant must be in proper swimming costumes. Caps are compulsory for all.
• It is necessary to touch the finishing point (i.e. wall) in order to qualify for the position.
• In the relay, each swimmer must touch the finishing point before the next participant enters the pool.
• In case of no participant then that event will not be conducted.
• Participants must report 5 minutes prior to the events in proper swimming costume at the venue.
• Changes in the name of the participants are not allowed during the competition.
• All events will be conducted on the time trial basis, and positions will be awarded accordingly.
• If any participant does not turn up during the competition, the trial points of that house will be deducted. 

PS:

1.         The championship is open for the students, who are already taking swimming classes in the school. The students who take swimming classes outside the school campus may also participate.
