Janmashtami Celebration

Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Krishna is the embodiment of unimpeachable integrity and virtues. The teachings of Lord Krishna become even more pertinent in an age of heightened confrontations in the world. Embracing Lord Krishna can take one closer to inner peace and tranquility. It can alleviate irreconcilable differences and conflict of interests among people. For establishing a deeper spiritual connection with Lord Krishna, Delhi Public School, Gaya celebrated Janmashtami on August 18, 2022. Special assemblies were organized the school. In the special assembly organized for the senior wing, a student delivered a speech on Janmashtami with sheer brilliance of oratory skills. Group Devotional Song presented by a group of students of classes VI-XII transported the audience to the realm of divinity. Fusion Devotional Dance riveted the audience with its elegance and finesse. In the special assembly organized for the junior wing, the celebration commenced with lighting the customary lamp followed by the felicitation of Principal Sir with card. Krishna Bhajan and Rasleela paved the way for spiritual awakening. Speech delivered by a student with a palatable touch of oratory brilliance mesmerized the audience. Principal Sir, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra, in his address urged everyone to gravitate towards the teachings of Lord Krishna to attain enlightenment in true sense. The Pro-Vice Chairman, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and the Principal, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra underscored the relevance of teachings of Lord Krishna in today’s world.
