Investiture Ceremony 2022-23

Delhi Public School, Gaya organized the Investiture Ceremony on July 20, 2022 to induct newly elected council members in the school’s Student Council. At the outset, the Chief Guest of the ceremony, Mr. Kamlesh Singh, Commandant, CRPF 159th Battalion, Gaya was accorded a floral welcome. Close on the heels of welcoming the Chief Guest, the auspicious lamp was lighted with the recitation of shloka. The welcome speech was presented by the compere to extend the schools heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished dignitaries for their gracious presence. After the welcome speech, the newly elected council members were inducted into the schools Prefectorial Board for the session 2022-23. In the wake of the induction ceremony, the newly elected Head Girl presented a speech with sheer brilliance of oratory skills. After the speech of the Head Girl, Principal Sir, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra administered the Investiture Oath to the newly elected council members. The Principal, in his address, appreciated the benign presence of the parents. He provided a deeper insight into the rigorous selection process of the council members for the academic session of 2022-23. He exhorted the newly elected council members to abide by the rules and regulations, enshrined in the schools Prefectorial Constitution. He also underlined in his address that failure is the stepping stone to success and one must learn from failures to reach the apex of success. After Principal Sirs motivating speech, a classical music and dance performance enthralled the audience and held them captive to their performance. The Chief Guest, Mr. Kamlesh Singh, in his address congratulated newly elected council members. He underscored the importance of leadership qualities in every sphere of life. He emphasized that an efficient leader can rise in the face of adversity and reach the pinnacle of success. After the speech of the Chief Guest, he was felicitated for embellishing the Investiture Ceremony with his inspiring presence. The vote of thanks by the newly elected Head Boy concluded the event.
