International Mothers Day Celebration: A Grand Tribute to the Pillars of Our Lives-Our Mothers Abraham Lincoln said, All that I am, or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel mother. International Mothers Day is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of May. The day celebrates the purest bond between mothers and their children across the globe. A mother is the epitome of indomitable perseverance, courage and wisdom. DPS Gaya celebrated International Mothers Day on 10 May 2024 to pay obeisance to all the mothers for their unconditional love and sacrifice for their children and families. The students, with their mesmerizing performances, filled the air with joy and pride, paying glowing tributes to all the mothers through enchanting song, dance and speech. Before the celebration, students of classes VI to VIII enthusiastically participated in the Greeting Card Making Competition, showcasing their appreciation and gratitude to their mothers. The Honourable Principal Sir, in his address, underscored the profound significance of mothers in shaping the life of every child. He heaped well-deserved laurels on all the mothers for their invaluable contribution to nation-building and shaping the destiny of their children. Close on the heels of his heartfelt address, he not only felicitated the winners of the Greeting Card Making Competition’, but also conferred glory on the achievers of the Conclave, organized by Birla Vidya Mandir, Nainital, further highlighting the importance of their achievements.
