DPS Gaya Hosts CBSE Skill Expo & Guidance Festival 2026–27

Delhi Public School Gaya resonated with vibrancy, creativity and youthful aspiration as it hosted the CBSE Skill Expo & Guidance Festival 2026–27 on 30 September 2026, bringing together 25 schools, including the host school for a momentous celebration of skills, innovation and future possibilities. The occasion was graced by Padma Shri Anand Kumar, Founder of Super 30 and renowned Mathematician and educationist, as the Chief Guest; Shri Gopal Lal Yadav, Regional Officer, CBSE, Patna, as the Guest of Honour; and Ms. Anjali, Assistant Regional Officer, DAV North Circle and Principal, DAV Cantt. Area, as the Special Guest. The event also welcomed several eminent academicians and professionals, including Dr. Kovleen Sahni, Principal, Delhi Public School, Gaya; Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Executive Director, FDDI, Patna; Dr. Nemi Rathore, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya; Ms. Muskan Pahwa, Regional Director, Lifology Foundation, Trivandrum; Prof. Tarun Kumar Tyagi, Department of Teacher Education, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya; and Dr. Narayan Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Jagjivan College, Magadh University, Gaya. The dignitaries were accorded a warm welcome, followed by the formal introduction to the event and the felicitation of the Chief Guest. The ceremonial proceedings came alive with an enthralling group dance performance, setting an exuberant tone for the celebrations. Addressing the gathering, Padma Shri Anand Kumar inspired students to dream, embrace challenges and pursue their aspirations with determination and perseverance. His insightful words served as a powerful reminder that curiosity, resilience and consistent effort can transform aspirations into meaningful achievements. Mementoes were presented to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, Special Guest and esteemed judges as a mark of appreciation for their gracious presence and valuable contribution to the occasion. Adding grace and serenity to the celebration, ‘Yogic Harmony’, a captivating yoga presentation, beautifully reflected the values of balance, discipline, mindfulness and inner well-being. The event was thereafter formally declared open and inaugurated by the Chief Guest, followed by the inauguration of the Skill Expo in the Auditorium. The Expo unfolded as a vibrant inter-school showcase of creativity, innovation and experiential learning, with participants from 25 schools presenting skill-based projects, innovative models and imaginative ideas. The accompanying Guidance Festival provided students with valuable exposure to diverse academic and career pathways, enabling them to explore possibilities and envision their future with greater confidence and clarity.
