The Inter-House English Extempore Competition held at Delhi Public School Gaya on August 4, 2023, showcased the remarkable oratory skills and intellectual brilliance of the students. The event emphasized the importance of effective communication and the ability to convey ideas to others. As Helen Keller once said, If you can not communicate and talk to other people and get across your ideas, you are giving up your potential. The competition witnessed students from classes IX to XII delivering speeches that resonated with the audience in the school auditorium. Adjudged on five key parameters, including content relevance, speech clarity, articulation, body language, and overall impact, the competition was highly competitive. Outshining her peers, Aditi Sharma from Buddha House secured the first position with her speech, capturing the attention of the judges and the audience alike. Jyotsana from Aryabhatta House exhibited extraordinary confidence, securing the second position. Ayhem Mohammad Khan from Chanakya House claimed the third position. Additionally, Ankita Rath, also from Aryabhatta House, was recognized as the Most Promising Speaker.
