Fancy Dress Extravaganza: A Blend of Fashion and Creativity

Fancy dress programmes are not merely about wearing costumes; they are a vital aspect of learning, especially during the formative years of young children. These events nurture the imaginative prowess of toddlers through creative imitation. The first shift of the inaugural day of the Fancy Dress Programme was held at Delhi Public School Gaya on 29th November 2024. The event commenced with a heartfelt Welcome Song performed by Class II students, setting a cheerful tone in the school auditorium: the esteemed Chief Guest, Smt. Swapna G Meshram (IPS), Commandant of Bihar Special Armed Police (BASP 17), Bodhgaya, and the Special Guest, Shri Ashish Bharti (IPS), Senior Superintendent of Gaya, graced the occasion alongside honourable Principal Sir. In her address, Smt. Meshram commended the school for fostering creativity and confidence among its students, emphasizing the importance of nurturing imagination during the formative years. Students from Pre-Nursery and Nursery portrayed characters such as cartoon characters, birds, insects, plants, social workers, community helpers, historical figures, Chandrayaan, and scientists (the great Indian ISRO scientists). The young participants, brimming with enthusiasm, captivated the audience with their creativity and performances. In his speech, the esteemed Principal praised the students energy and creativity, stating that such events play a crucial role in the holistic development of students by fostering confidence, imagination, and expression. He emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping a childs personality. The program concluded with a vibrant dance performance by Class II students, leaving a lasting impression on all the attendees who were an integral part of this wonderful event.
