Inter-House Debate Competition at DPS Gaya

The Inter-House Debate Competition held on 29 July 2024 at Delhi Public School Gaya was an exquisite demonstration of eloquence and unflappable composure from classes VI to VIII students. Each house engaged exuberantly in spirited and thought-provoking debates on various topics. The competition was intense, with participants showcasing their research, argumentation and public speaking skills. Eventually, Chanakya House emerged triumphant, demonstrating remarkable debating skills followed by Ashoka House is in second place. Aryabhatta House claimed third place, showcasing its mettle throughout the competition. Notably, Vasu from class 7 of Buddha House was honoured with the Principals Choice Award, recognized for his exceptional oratory skills. Our Honourable Principal Sir congratulated all the participants and emphasized the importance of developing strong communication and critical thinking skills. He further stressed that debates augment critical thinking and logical argumentative skills.
