Cyber Security Awareness Programme at DPS Gaya

In the digital age, protecting your data is just as important as locking your door. DPS Gaya hosted a Cyber Security Awareness Programme on 25 July 2024 to educate students about the importance of online safety and digital security. The event commenced with a floral welcome for the esteemed chief guest, Mrs Sakshi Roy, DySP of Cyber Crime, Gaya. Following this, the chief guest was felicitated in recognition of her gracious presence at the event. Following the introduction of the chief guest, the Awareness Programme related to cyber security began, emphasizing the increasing importance of cyber vigilance in an era where digital threats are becoming more sophisticated. The event also underscored the implications of common cyber threats, such as phishing and malware, and shared a wealth of practical tips for protecting personal information online. Notably, students actively engaged by asking questions related to cyber security and digital safety. They sought guidance on various aspects of online protection, including how to safeguard personal data, and respond to cyber threats. In her enlightening address, the chief guest not only shared strategies to mitigate cyber threats but also empowered our students to take charge of their online safety. She urged them to adopt vigilant online practices to protect their digital footprints. The esteemed Principal Sir emphasized the importance of fostering cyber security awareness, inspiring our students to be more vigilant online.
