Prep Graduation Day

DPS Gaya celebrated a remarkable graduation day for the Prep students, etching unforgettable moments in their minds, for as they say, it is not the days we recall but the moments cherished. The event commenced with the solemn lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the journey of enlightenment awaiting the graduates. The atmosphere brimmed with anticipation during the floral felicitation, lauding the accomplishments of the young scholars. Prep C students enthralled everyone with their melodious welcome song, setting a harmonious tone for the festivities. During the ceremony, the students made a solemn commitment to uphold excellence and integrity, led by our esteemed Principal Sir, Mr Satyendra Kumar Mishra and Headmistress Ms Afshan Jabeen Baba. The honourable Principal Sir delivered an inspiring address, underscoring the pivotal role of education and character development in shaping future leaders, illustrating it with the analogy of pencils and crayons and quoting a famous shloka. He elaborated on the importance of showering love on the students for five years and then transitioning to a more vigilant parenting and mentoring role from the sixth year onward, elucidating the qualities of successful students. However, the true highlight of the day was the exceptional yoga performance by the tiny tots from Prep A, showcasing their agility and discipline remarkably. Not to be outdone, Prep B mesmerized the audience with their energetic dance performance, spreading joy and enthusiasm. As the ceremony drew close, everyone sang the National Anthem with pride and unity, commemorating their love for the country and shared values.
