Chanakya House Function 2023

Delhi Public School Gaya witnessed the confluence of colourful vibrancy and effervesence in its celebration of the Chanakya House Function on December 24, 2023. The cultural spectacle premised on the theme of Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam was graced by the inspiring presence of the honourable Chief Guest of the event, Shri Ram Naresh Sharma, Philanthropist and Chairman of Magadh Educational Trust Gaya, esteemed Principal of DPS Gaya, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra and other treasured invitees. At the outset, a floral bouquet, symbolising a gesture of gratitude was presented to the Chief Guestby the Principal of the school. The programme embarked on its exhilarating journey with the soulful rendition of the Welcome Song Bless The Lord. All the distinguished guests, along with parents then illuminated the spiritual lamp which created a heavenly atmosphere in the auditorium. Immaculately choreographed Welcome Dance Fusionshowcased rhythmic synchronization from all the participants. The theme based songs Ek Omkar and Ek Jaan Ek Jahaaneffectively resonated with the audience and beautifully underlined the theme of the event. The yoga performance Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam mesmerized the audience with its elegant and powerful postures. The annual report presented by the Principal, Mr. Satyendra Mishra highlighted the schools achievements in both academic and co-curricular activities. He lauded the indefatigable efforts of the management, teachers and parents for the schools enviable journey of success. Consequently, the achievers of the Aryabhatta House were awarded with certificates, medals and trophies in various categories. Chanakya House lifted the trophy of the Best House of the school. The award ceremony was followed by memento and flower pot presentation to the Chief Guest. The remarkably choreographed theme based dance performances Unity in Diversity and United By Hearts created a spectacular spectacle for the audience. The cultural extravaganza culminated with the Vote of Thanks followed by the National Anthem.
