Delhi Public School Gaya witnessed vivid convergence of dynamism and exuberance in its celebration of the Ashoka House Function on December 23, 2023. The grand spectacle based on the theme of Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam was graced by the inspiring presence of the distinguished Chief Guest of the event, Shri Brahmdeo Ram Pandit, Padma Shri recipient and exponent of ceramic art, the Guest of Honour, Shri Abhay Brahmdeo Pandit, another stalwart of ceramic art, honourable Principal of the school, Mr. Satyendra Mishra and other cherished invitees. At the outset, a floral bouquet, embodying a gesture of gratitude was presented to the Chief Guest by the Principal of the school. The celebration embarked on its ethereal journey with the soulful rendition of the Welcome Song God is One. All the distinguished guests, along with parents then illuminated the spiritual lamp which created a heavenly atmosphere in the auditorium. Immaculately choreographed Welcome Dance Big Bang Theory showcased a harmonious synchronization from all the participants. Theme based songs Mile Sur Mera Tumhara and Hum Sab EkHaieffectively resonated with the audience and beautifully highlighted the theme of the event. The yoga performance Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam mesmerized the audience with its elegant and powerful postures. The annual report presented by the Principal, Mr. Satyendra Mishra highlighted the schools achievements in both academic and co-curricular activities. He heaped glowing encomiums on the indefatigable efforts of the management, teachers and parents for the schools unparalleled journey to success. Consequently, the achievers of the Aryabhatta House were awarded with certificates, medals and trophies in various categories, followed by memento and flower pot presentation to the Chief Guest. The remarkably choreographed theme based dance performances Regional Dance and Shivam Shivadam created a grand spectacle for the audience. The cultural extravaganza culminated with the Vote of Thanks followed by the National Anthem.
