DPS Gaya Reigns Supreme in the CBSE East Zone Yoga Competition

Delhi Public School Gaya stamped its supremacy in the CBSE East Zone Yoga Competition 2023, held at Delhi Public School Dhanbad from October 28 to October 31, 2023. The phenomenal performance of DPS Gaya lends legitimacy to its unchallenged position in Yoga in the East Zone. The highly competitive championship witnessed scintillating performances from 300 participants representing 31 schools from East Zone. Delhi Public School Gaya left an indisputable legacy by capturing 1 Gold and 5 Silver in the U-14 Team Event Boys. Ashvik Raj, Ansh Raj, Ayush Raj, Anmol Raj and Rudra Pratap Singh captured Silver in the Team Event. Notably Rudra Pratap Singh bettering his tally of Silver clinched a Gold in the U-14 Individual Boys Event. The honourable Principal of the school, Mr. Satyendra Mishra congratulated the students and their mentor for their extraordinary accomplishment. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, the respected Pro-Vice Chairman of the school heaped gleaming accolades on the students for accomplishing this magnificent feat. DPS Gaya Organized Run for Unity 2023 “Run for Unity” is organized annually on October 31, 2023 to mark Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). The day also marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration of independent India. Delhi Public School Gaya organized the “Run for Unity” on October 31, 2023 to commemorate the 148th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Home Minister and Iron Man of India. Students were also administered the “National Unity Day” pledge on the occasion to underscore the significance of unity in diversity. The honourable Principal of the school, Mr. Satyendra Mishra paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and exhorted the students to evolve as nation builders and follow in the footsteps of Sardar Patel.
