DPS Gaya Enthroned as CBSE East Zone Taekwondo Champion

Delhi Public School Gaya reigned supreme in the CBSE East Zone Taekwondo Championship 2023-24, held at Sunbeam School, Babatpur, Varanasi from October 24 to October 27, 2023. The supremely competitive championship witnessed exhilarating performances from 1500 participants representing 187 schools from the East Zone. Delhi Public School Gaya stamped its indisputable authority by capturing 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 8 Bronze. The extraordinary performance of DPS Gaya propelled it to be enthroned as the CBSE East Zone Overall Taekwondo Champion 2023. Eight students of DPS Gaya will participate in the CBSE National Taekwondo Championship 2023-24 going to be held at Gagan Public School Greater Noida from November 23 to November 28, 2023 which is a testament to their scintillating performance at the zonal level championship. The honourable Principal of the school, Mr. Satyendra Mishra congratulated the students and their coach. He termed their phenomenal achievement as a matter of unparalleled pride and elation for the DPS Gaya fraternity. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, the respected Pro-Vice Chairman of the school heaped glowing encomiums on the students for accomplishing this enviable feat.
