Inter-House English Quiz Competition

A quiz competition is a platform where curiosity and intelligence converge. English has become an inalienable part of human lives; it is ingrained in the conscience of every human being. Life becomes inconsequential without the knowledge of English. Delhi Public School Gaya education system lays a greater emphasis on quiz as it develops a sense of inquisitiveness in students and strengthens their capacity of self-assessment. The school recognizes the importance of a well-rounded education and regularly organizes quiz competitions as an integral part of its curriculum. Delhi Public School Gaya organized an Inter-House English Quiz Competition on October 13, 2023. Students from classes VI to VIII participated in the quiz with unparalleled enthusiasm. All the four house vied for the top honours. Ultimately Aryabhatta House prevailed over its adversaries and emerged the champion of the quiz competition, followed by Ashoka House at the second place. Notably, Buddha House and Chanakya House also put up some commendable performances and grabbed third and fourth positions respectively. The honourable Principal of the school, Mr. Satyendra Mishra underlined the significance of English literacy in our daily life and encouraged students to develop proficiency in English language. He appreciated the efforts of the Department of English for the smooth conduct of the Inter-House English Quiz Competition.
