The most decorated Olympian and American swimming legend, Michael Phelps said, You dream. You plan. You reach. There will be obstacles. There will be mistakes. But with hard work, with belief, with confidence and trust in yourself, there are no limits. In its unflinching pursuit to eclipse the enviable feat accomplished at the CBSE East Zone Taekwondo Championship 2022, Delhi Public School Gaya participated in the CBSE National Taekwondo Championship 2023, held at S. G Public School, Ghaziabad from 31.12.2022 to 05.01.2023. 125 schools from across the country participated in the Under-19 Girls Category, raising the competitiveness of the championship immeasurably. Delhi Public School, Gaya established itself as a force to reckon with at the championship. Bushra Kabir, Shristy Kumari and Vedangi Kandhway captured Bronze Medals in Below 57 Kg, Below 67 Kg and Below 73 Kg categories respectively. To top it all, Delhi Public School, Gaya secured the coveted Runner-up Champions Trophy in Under-19 Girls Team Event. Principal, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra congratulated the Taekwondo Team of the school for such a remarkable accomplishment and commended the efforts of the participants and their mentor. Pro-Vice Chairman, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar expressed boundless elation at this outstanding achievement and reinforced his commitment to provide all kinds of facilities to the students to get recognition at various national and international level competitions.
