Pledge for Road Safety

The National Crime Records Beaureu (NCRB) presents a grim picture of the number of deaths caused due to road accidents in India. The reckless contravention of traffic guidelines caused premature death of 1.55 lakh people in India in 2021. To sensitize people about the importance of following road safety measures in letter and spirit, India’s leading Hindi daily, Dainik Jagran organized a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about road safety. Delhi Public School, Gaya, in consonance with the official promulgation by the office of the District Education Officer, Gaya participated in Dainik Jagrans nationwide campaign to promote awareness about road safety measures. All the students and teachers pledged to uphold the sanctity of road safety measures. Pro-Vice Chairman, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and Principal, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra underlined the utmost significance of adhering to the guidelines of road safety measures to stave off any detriment to our lives.
