Inter-house Solo Singing Competition

The concept of tabula rasa states that childrens minds are blank states, whatever we imprint on them, they will perceive. Language plays an important role in an overall conditioning of this tabula rasa and so does music. Music is to the soul what words are to the mind. Music teaches us to be creative, to be carefree and attentive- both at the same time. It creates a realm where we can find repose in the hardest of times. It teaches us how to feel. To enhance its students creative sides, Delhi Public School, Gaya organized an Inter-house Solo-singing Competition for the students of classes 1 to 5. Total 32 finalists performed on stage. They gave stupendous performances through their bhajans and patriotic songs. Their soulful renditions impressed both the audience and the judges. Our respected Principal sir, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra graced the occasion and spoke some words of encouragement for the participants. 3 winners were selected from each of the three classes. The competition ended on a happy note and with a hope of witnessing such wonderful competitions in the future ahead.
