Gita Jayanti Celebration

Shrimad Bhagwad Gita holds a great significance for Hindus. Delhi Public School Gaya celebrated the 5159th anniversary of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita, the most sacred book of Hindus on December 3, 2022 for the Senior Wing. At the outset, Pujan Samaroh was organized to celebrate the divinity of Gita Jayanti. Close on the heels of Pujan Samaroh, students of class XI enchanted the audience with the chanting of Shloka. The chanting of ‘Shanti Mantra’ instilled inner peace and tranquillity in the audience by mitigating all kinds of stress and despondency. Pro-Vice Chairman, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and Principal, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra underscored the importance of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita in our lives. They stressed upon the expediency to embrace the teachings of Bhagwad Gita for attaining enlightenment in true sense.
