CBSE In-House Teachers’ Training Workshop

Topic: Upskilling on Pedagogy- A Learner Centric Approach Resource Person: Dr. Sanjeev Arora A one-day CBSE In-House workshop on “Upskilling on Pedagogy- A Learner Centric Approach” organized by Delhi Public School, Gaya on November 19, 2022. At the outset, the Resource Person was accorded a floral welcome by the Principal, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra. The workshop dwelt on the paradigm shift in the approaches to pedagogy. The workshop was aimed at capacity building of teachers through different pedagogical approaches. The workshop was conducted by the Resource Person, Dr. Sanjeev Arora in coordination with School Training Nodal Coordinators (STNC), Ms. Jaya and Mr. Santanu. Dr. Sanjeev Arora is a renowned public speaker, behavioural counsellor, corporate trainer and consultant. The Resource Person extensively emphasized on the holistic development of students. A host of collaborative and interactive activities were conducted during the three sessions of the workshop. In one of the activities, teachers had to explore their imaginative and creative prowess to develop a story from the outline whereas another activity brought out the emotional quotient of teachers. In the final session, teachers in their respective groups, pictorially highlighted problems faced by them in the class and their solutions to mitigate these problems. The session ended with the valedictory speech, group photograph and certificate distribution. Pro-Vice Chairman, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and Principal, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra extended their gratitude to Dr. Sanjeev Arora for gracing this workshop as the Resource Person. They also exhorted teachers to further enhance their management skills, technical knowledge and pedagogical approaches for the holistic development of students.
