Children’s Day Celebration 2022

Childrens Day is celebrated on November 14 every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, famously known as Chacha Nehru. He once said that, Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow. Delhi Public School, Gaya firmly believes in this objective and perseveres untiringly to prepare citizens of tomorrow. Delhi Public School, Gaya celebrated Childrens Day on November 14, 2022 to mark 133rd birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru. On this auspicious day, teachers participated in the special assembly which was organized for the senior section. The soulful rendition of the song Taare Zameen Par by the teachers in group mesmerized the audience. The group dance by teachers perfectly blended with the tune of the song. In the separate assembly organized for the Junior Wing, teachers enthusiastically participated in the Childrens Day celebration. In Pre-Nursery to Class II, the mellifluous rendition of songs Dil Hai Chhotasa, Itni Si Hasi and Chanda Chamke Chamcham and brilliant presentation of group dance on the songs Barso re Megha, Jhumeri Gori and Breathless by teachers in group riveted the audience. Poem recitation and Kids Fashion Show added bells and whistles to the celebration. In classes III to V, teachers melodiously presented Motivation Songs Medley on Taare Zameen Par, Aashaye and Aae Khuda Kuchh to Bata. Group dance on the Folk Song Jag Changa by the teachers was an enchanting coordination of footsteps with tune of the song. Teachers brilliantly portrayed relationship between students and teachers through a skit. Teachers speeches on Childrens Day underscored the significance of this day. Pro-Vice Chairman, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and Principal, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra reinforced the fact that children are the greatest strength of our nation. They are the future of our country and must be nurtured with care.
