Guru Nanak Dev Ji said, Be kind to all beings, this is more meritorious than bathing at sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage and donating money. Guru Nanak Dev, the founder and first guru of Sikhism firmly believed in humanitarian values and relentlessly strived to alleviate inequalities from the world. He renounced materialistic pleasures and engaged himself in selfless service to seek gratification. Delhi Public School, Gaya Junior Wing (City Branch) celebrated 553rd birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev on November 7, 2022. The young kids of the Junior Wing crafted beautifully designed Diyas to commemorate Prakash Parv. Pro-Vice Chairman, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar and Principal, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra underscored the significance of Guru Nanak Jayanti and urged students to follow the path of humanity and truthfulness.
