Diwali celebrated the triumph of good over evil. It epitomizes the victory of knowledge over ignorance. The cosmic light of Diwali dispels all kinds of darkness, shrouding the humanity. The sustainability of life on the earth is largely reliant on the Sun god. The Diwali and Chhath Puja celebrations at Delhi Public School, Gaya and its Junior Wing (City Branch) on October 21, 2022 infused ceaseless celebratory fervor on the school premises. The primary and the secondary wings of the school celebrated Diwali and Chhath Puja with interminable zeal. The celebration of the primary wing commenced with the felicitation of the Principal with the card. Lighting the lamp embarked the path to divinity. Soulful rendition and elegance of group song and dance performances on the theme of Diwali and Chhath Puja enamored the audience. Ram Katha was brilliantly performed by students in the form of skit. Students’ speeches in English and Hindi underscored the importance of Green Diwali and the significance of Chhath Puja. The celebration of the senior wing commenced with the grandeur of the devotional group song and the fusion dance mesmerized the audience. Principal Sir, in his address, encouraged the students to celebrate Green Diwali. He emphasized on the need to save environment and refrain from bursting firecrackers. Pro-Vice Chairman, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar highlighted the significance of Diwali and Chhath Puja. They exhorted students to celebrate Diwali in an eco-friendly manner.
