Elvis Duran said, Halloween is not only about putting on a costume but its about finding the imagination and costume within ourselves. On 31st October, the world celebrates Halloween day which originates with Samhain festival celebrated by the Celts around 2000 years ago. It is the prominently marked as the end of summer and the arrival of winter. Celts would light bone fires and wear costumes made of animal heads and skin to proclude of the ghostly spirits to enshrine the event. Delhi public school Gaya celebrated Halloween Day on October 31st 2023 which witnessed an enthusiastic participation from the students of Pre Nursery to I including junior wing and class II. The young kids outlined beautiful yet ghostly representation of Halloween masks. They were enlightened about the prominence of masks during Halloween and other figures along with Jack O Lanterns. Honourable Principal of the school, Mr Satyendra Mishra extolled the students and teachers for the successful conduct of the celebration and also underlined the history and importance of Halloween.
