With unparalleled exuberance, Delhi Public School Gaya celebrated Grandparents Day on September 15, 2023. The school organized a spectacular event that emphasized the importance of grandparents in childrens lives. The day began with a warm welcome extended to the beloved grandparents who graced the occasion, highlighting the significance of their unceasing support and guidance in the lives of their grandchildren. Floral facilitation by Ms. Guncha and Ms. Bhumika included the presentation of bouquets as tokens of affection and reverence to Principal Sir, Mr. Satyendra Kumar Mishra. The celebration then took a vibrant turn as students expressed their feelings through the art of dance, showcasing a range of emotions from laughter to tears and madness. It was a mesmerizing display of human expression. Activities for grandparents included a fashion show, a ball and balloon race, and the "passing the cone" game, ensuring that everyone had a chance to participate and enjoy the day. The event culminated with a closing song followed by an inspiring speech from Principal Sir. The Chief Guest, Shri. Ram Naresh Sharma Ji, and Principal Sir honoured the winners of various activities with medals, acknowledging their efforts and achievements. A heartfelt vote of thanks was expressed to all the participants, grandparents, and staff who contributed to the success of this memorable event. The day concluded with a united rendition of the National Anthem, symbolizing unity and pride in our nation.
