The Investiture Ceremony holds significant importance in the academic calendar of a school, as it marks the induction of newly elected council members into the schools Prefectorial Board. On August 19, 2023, Delhi Public School Gaya conducted its Investiture Ceremony to appoint council members for the session 2023-24. The council members were entrusted with the authority and responsibilities of leadership, along with the tasks of executing their duties skillfully. The presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Shree Tsering Dorjai, Deputy Inspector General of the 29th Battalion, Shashtra Seema Bal, Gaya, added a touch of grandeur to the ceremony. He was warmly welcomed with a floral tribute. The ceremony commenced with the Lighting the Lamp Ceremony, offering a sublime initiation. This was followed by a welcome speech by the compere, after which the newly elected council members were formally inducted into the schools Prefectorial Board. Following the induction, the newly elected Head Girl delivered an address. Subsequently, an impeccably executed yoga performance captivated the audience. The schools honorable Principal, Mr. Satyendra Mishra, addressed the gathering. He acknowledged the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest and congratulated the newly elected office bearers. He encouraged them to fulfill their duties with unwavering dedication, urging them to confront lifes challenges with resolute determination. The Principals motivational words were followed by a beautifully choreographed dance performance that enthralled the audience with its graceful movements. The Chief Guest emphasized the significance of discipline and moral integrity in leading an effective life. He stressed the importance of leadership qualities in all aspects of life, asserting that a capable leader can overcome any adversity and achieve the pinnacle of success. Following this inspiring speech, the Chief Guest was felicitated by the schools Principal. The newly elected Head Boy of the school concluded the ceremony with a Vote of Thanks.
