Inter-House Mathematics Quiz Competition

Delhi Public School Gaya recognizes the importance of a well-rounded education and regularly organizes quiz competitions as an integral part of its curriculum. On August 1, 2023, the school held an Inter-House Mathematics Quiz, focusing on the promotion of greenery in our surroundings. Students from classes VI to XII eagerly participated in the quiz, showcasing their unmatched enthusiasm. The competition comprised four rounds: the General Round, Personality Identification Round, Rapid Fire Round, and Buzzer Round. The houses battled fiercely, determined to secure the top position. Ultimately, Buddha House emerged as the champion, followed by Ashoka House in second place and Aryabhatta House in third. Notably, Chanakya House also put up a commendable performance, securing the fourth position. During the prize distribution ceremony, Mr. Satyendra Mishra, the honourable Principal, emphasized the significance of mathematics literacy in our lives. He commended the efforts of the Department of Mathematics for organizing the event successfully. This Inter-House Mathematics Quiz provided students with a platform to showcase their knowledge, fostered a sense of teamwork, and encouraged healthy competition among the houses. Mathematics, in all its logical brilliance, proved to be a unifying force among the students.
